| Two killed in accidents |
National » Tamil NaduTiruvannamalai, January 19, 2015 Updated: January 19, 2015 05:42 IST Two persons were killed in different road accidents, involving motorcycles, in the district on Saturday. Nirmalkumar (21) of Periyakoil was killed on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding with two other friends rammed a milestone at Pappanthangal Puthukoil near Cheyyar. Two pillion riders namely Saravanan and Manikandan were admitted to Cheyyar Government Hospital with injuries. Cheyyar police have booked a case. In the second incident, Ramadoss (26) of Mummuni village was killed when his bike rammed a tourist cab at Pulivai junction on Vandavasi-Cheyyar Road. Another rider Srinivasan (30) of the same village escaped with injuries.
