7 Injured in Dy CM's Convoy Road Mishap |
01st December 2014 06:01 AM WARANGAL: Deputy chief minister, T Rajaiah, had a narrow escape from an accident in which seven persons including three civilians were injured when a jeep in his convoy hit a two-wheeler as well as a car after one of car’s tyres deflated near Yeshwantpur village on the outskirts of Jangaon town in Warangal on Sunday evening. According to sources, the jeep that was a pilot vehicle in the convoy, was on its way to Warangal from Jangaon, when it hit a car that was coming in the opposite direction whose driver lost control of the vehicle when one of its tyres burst.Due to the impact of the collision, SI Jaganmohan, who was in the jeep, sustained a head injury and constable Vijay Kumar had reportedly suffered a fracture to his hand. K Babu and Venkataratnam, who were coming in the opposite direction on the two-wheeler, were injured in the accident. Sometime if we are careful also we get injured. |
